Tools we use

There are some really complex way to develop enhanced digital content, some a lot less successful or even powerful than others. At WPA we have been using Apple’s iBooks Author software since it came out 5 years ago to produce countless business enhanced, multi-touch, interactive ebooks. We later added Flipbooks by 3D issue and Kotobee to the list of software for cases when cross-platform distribution is important. We also develop custom ebook apps that also run on iOS and Android.

iBooks Author

Apple’s free ebook development software allows you to create very advanced and engaging ebooks to be used on Apple devices.

3D Issue Flipbooks

When readership on non-Apple device is important, we use 3D Issue’s Flipbook development software. We are official partners and resellers and can help you get started and trained with the software.

Kotobee Author

Kotobee Author is another ebook creator and EPUB editor, allowing us to add interactive content that can be opened not only through Kotobee Reader, but any compliant EPUB 3 reader, on any device, including Web browser. We can also produce native Android and iOS ebook apps that can be distributed on App stores.

3D Issue partners

We started to pay close attention to 3D Issue’s Flipbook software with the release of version 8. That’s when we became partners. We feel this is a great software to be used when your readers are not on Apple devices.

We started like Kotobee’s flexibility in adding content and widgets to the ebook project. It offers very powerful and flexible publishing features that make it a very solid tool.
