Health Insurance Guide
Adaptive Learning Resource (desktop, mobile, tablet compatibility)
A few details
NCHA was looking for an innovative way to teach public stakeholders about the specific benefits and processes for accessing public healthcare. Their target audience was low-income community members that are often unaware of how to sign up for health insurance and the benefits they may be eligible for.
What the users see
It was essential that the material be easily accessible on all electronic platforms and be targeted to the unique needs of the target audience. We developed an adaptive learning tool that changes it’s format and design based on the device the learner is using.
Making the app managable
It was designed to be an open knowledge resource tool so learners could navigate to a particular question they might have and easily access information related to that question.
The fundamental approach was to acknowledge the needs of the learner and make it as easy as possible for them to find the answers they needed.
NCHA needed an intuitive approach that would be accessible to people in their own time and that would clearly address common questions and barriers these communities face while attempting to access healthcare.
Our bold graphic interface and easy to navigate design minimize the chances of learner frustration and dramatically increase the chances of user engagement, empowering learners with the necessary tools and knowledge they need, when they need it.
